Job Description

Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, up to £42,000 pa depending on experience, Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, 33 days’ holiday + excellent benefits, Permanent.

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and driven Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading Engineering Company. Specialising in the Aerospace, Defence, and Commercial sectors, our company prides itself on delivering top-quality products and services to our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our inspection team, equipment, and methods used for measurement and verification of our products and processes. We are looking for a hands-on Engineering professional with a strong understanding of aerospace parts and assemblies, as this is not an IT role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing APQP, SPC, and FAIR creation, control, sign-off, and submittal.
• Supporting, implementing, and monitoring all Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with AS9100 & AS9102 standards.
• Controlling MSE/Gauge R&R of all inspection equipment.
• Supporting company Red Table/RCCA activities.
• Managing offline programming to support production/inspection measurement and NPI Projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and knowledgeable Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to join our expanding company. To be successful in this role, you should have a wide understanding of the products and processes used in aerospace manufacturing, along with FAIR & PPAP skills. Knowledge of AS, ISO, and NADCAP standards is essential, and familiarity with relevant equipment such as CMMs, Faro Arms, etc. would be advantageous.
